Belonging

Belonging
is like a puzzle piece
not by colors or lines

but
with hearts
and dedication.

It holds together
like the solar system
that is beyond our reach.

Yet
it is the most powerful  force
that is stronger than any wind or fire.

Belonging
is what all of us seek and want,
for it is a magic of nature and our well being.

Without it
there would be just a black hole
pulling in all the nativities and the destruction.

To eventually
just to fall out like one of the stars
that leave space hitting the earth crust making a silent echo of death.

No longer
to be apart of the sky anymore
but just to be an outcast meteor down from space.

But everything and everyone
has a place where they belong even the outcast meteor
that brought the green and blue colors to life with many other mixture of colors and shapes.

This mystery puzzle piece
that is beyond our understanding
but it is one with us and we know it belong in this world.

For it the magic of nature
and wonder for it kept us alive for all these years
and you thought it was just a rock when it was a masterpiece of life.

I like your use of words and the deep meaning of the whole poem. Great job! Mind comment on my newest writing piece called "Strange Friend" also?

I thought this website will help you because of what I saw on your profile. andreajwenger.com/2009/08/22/the-enfp-writing-personality/ But what I think you should write about is thunder storm or about nature if you into poems like me.
