The sun arises over the misty grass
The sun casts warm shadows on the ground
The lake looks as clear as glass
The squirrels chase and bound
The birds are starting to sing
They jump from tree to tree
It is the beginning of Spring
The flowers bloom with glee
The scent of beauty fills the air
And the colors jump and soar
So nobody can help but stare
And hope to take a tour
Of the beautiful day
Where Spring will lead the way
