The Greed Apocalypse

Humanity’s death may come in a way
If people don’t renew and stay the same
We have become the apocalypse prey
Almost impossible to fully tame
Power, is humanity’s real goal
Nothing, can stop some from achieving it
Though this greed may contain a pricey toll
Is there a puzzle we cannot fit?
The flames of greed burns bright in our hearts
Locked in the chambers of our desires
To let it ignite may not be that smart
Humanity engulfed in the fires
Morales, is it something we cannot see?
Will the shackles ever let us be free?
