Senile, with age, an old wrinkled paper on the floor
I grabbed the old ten dollar bill from beneath me.
I walked casually across the street, unseen, to the store
Inside awaited a sea of items, waving what could be
I was amazed to find thousands upon thousands of choices
I found some parts but they coasted a lot of money
My ten dollar bill was shy to a lot of prices
I found a movie, but didn’t really look funny
Chuck-Ching! That’s the sound of the cashier making purchases
Couple of dumb underpriced goods that just won’t fulfill
Some ridiculous shoes that look like it’s from a circus
But what could you expect from a ten dollar bill
Who knew that spending ten dollars could be this stressful?
Afterall, this old ten dollar bill was a lot more special.
