Counting The Days
Waking up every morning,
Getting ready to start the day
Eating breakfast to keep you running
 Counting the days until May
Walking through the crowded and crazy halls
Dodging people as if bullets fired your way
 Ignoring your friends calls
Trying to not be late like your friends do everyday
In every class trying to pay attention
In lunch trying to find your friends to find a place to sit
Trying to do your work and get finish so you don’t get a detention
Walking through the crowd using your arms as a shield from hundreds of students trying to not get hit
And in the end after all the hard work you know you did best
But even though you’re proud of that you just can’t wait till you get to go home and rest
