The future is uncertain
With so much out there to fear
I’m not ready to close this curtain
How will I turn out in one year?

They say it’s my time to move on
They say it’s my time to be bold
But I can’t even mow my lawn
How will college withhold?

I just want to be free
Without all of this hassle
Life’s too short to worry
I cannot wait to move my tassel

But change can be scary
With so much out there to fear
Will I be merry?
How will I turn out in one year?

I'm pretty nervous for college next year, but I cannot wait to get out of high school. I know I'm not the only one!
