Writing sonnets is really freaking dumb
I would avoid those things at any cost
In these things I won’t even spit my gum.
In making of them my mind is lost.

Why must the syllables always be ten?
All that these things do to me is annoy!
The rules make as much sense as a male hen.
Why is it these things bring some people joy?

And so I wrote this thing to vent my rage.
Now hurry up and read this stupid thing.
In writing this thing I am in a cage.
I’d much rather jump through a burning ring.

And now my rant on sonnets is through
Holy crap this thing was a sonnet too
