 For a while, I was in a blissful daze
Where you could do know wrong.
Everything you said was a wonderful song.
I couldn't do anything but gaze.
I followed you around in the maze.
Its power was so strong.
That's why I stayed in it for so long.
But too soon it went away, the haze.
 
Once it left, I lost that feeling.
It also went away for you.
So we went our separate  ways
Living our lives. dealing.
The day we met I'll never rue.
It'll come again in future days.
