I want you to know

As I sat in the sand
Wishing I could go back in time
Erasing the problems at hand
These nagging problems of mine
With a pencil at hand I wrote this note
I couldn`t go on and you not know
Because these problems were too much to tote
I had to tell you, I wish it wasn`t so
The emotions were just too much to cope
You don`t know how much I wanted you to stay
I wish these feelings were like soap
That could be washed away
Writing this letter was the hardest part
And i knew that from the start
