Anger

Anger often chokes me like a big snake.
Constricting the breath out of my chest.
There is only so much pain I can take.
Anger contorts me from being my best.
Anger prevents me from having a good life.
I make things very treacherous for myself.
My anger cuts life’s ties like it’s a knife.
Controlling my anger requires much stealth.
Love of family helps me stay on course.
Patience and self control make life go smooth.
After I explode I am full of remorse.
Fighting my anger keeps me on the move.
Managing emotions is like a game.
Anger is an emotion you must tame.
