A Plea

Open a world of fantasy and dreams,
A pleasure land that is truly unique,
Of shining things full of glitter and gleam,
The ultimate freedom for those who seek.
Imagination, the gift of the mind,
Building castles in clouds that are so high.
Limitless and boundless and undefined,
Allowing us to reach the endless sky.
And yet there are those that tell us to stop.
The suns that melt the wax of our great wings
Waiting, watching for us to come and drop,
Life telling us to cease our believings.
Allow me to escape the strict limits,
And bathe in glories a dream elicits.
