Let Me Go

Symphonical tears fill my eyes
The truth of a life consumed by lies
I will miss this world and what it used to be
A submergent mass of memories buried in this sea.

Dear child, this life has left scars in my heart
So much, that I cannot tread further
It is too painful to move on this way
I feel to the universe but just a disgrace.

Dear child, let me go now
Where guardians can take me in
A place of solitude to take abode.
Sickness has darkened me to the light;
Won't you come stay with me for a last goodnight?

Tomorrow needles shall pierce me
Chemicals shall engulf me
This vessel will know no pain.
Tomorrow will be my final day.
Dear child, won't you come and let me go?
Wasn't it you who said I belong in a better world...

I like how you chose to write about a very serious subject and make it poetic. THis is written beautifully
