Shall I compare thee to my Lizard?
Thou are not nearly as cute or spiky
Choice between you and the lizards not hard
For he is handsome and you are ugly!
If you were smaller and he were bigger
It would make no difference to me
I know that lizards don’t have any fur
But my lizard Trevor is still cuddly!
I like going out for walks with Trevor
He is exceedingly kind and polite
My lizard friend is extremely clever
Where as you are not even slightly bright!
And now this sonnet has come to an end
You know that you are not really my friend!

This is a sonnet that I wrote during an English class, I thought that a love poem would be good to do as it is coming up to valentines day. I love my lizard more than any boy I know though!
