Visual perception is not affected
Rather the details become clearer still
By pure force my ears are resurrected
Self conscious emotions invite a kill
Simple actions take the patience of days
While the touch resonates like flawless gold
I question, I fear in so many ways
Disappointment-true always to behold
What I once knew forever will be gone
All comfort, all understanding is lost
Yet simplicity controls a new dawn
Acceptance finds the beauty in the cost
New eyes renew my appreciation
Evermore to have wings of relation
