And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to bloom.
"Work for Yourself and soon you will see that SELF is everywhere"

Shadows unfurl from beneath their walls,
Inking the world in an early night,
Slinking and curling through the darkened hall;
It is futile to fight the dark with light.

Demon wings flare and take to the sky
Vampires emerge from their hidden dens
Children scream for their mothers while they cry
As werewolves prowl with more strength than men.

Walking alone in a dark alley,
Safety dwindles at the edge of a knife.
Fight or flight; there is no time to dally,
One wrong move and it’s the end of your life.

So drift on the tops of angels wings,
And dream of lighter, happier things.
