Ignored

Why take no notice when I am in line?
Why ignore me when I am near?
Am I that invisible and seemingly not here,
That you must repeatedly decline.
It may look just fine,
That I’m alone with my fear
Without anyone’s ear
Listening to these troubles of mine.
However, there would be no resistance,
If you said, “Hey you.”
Even a slight wave would do
To acknowledging my existence.
All I seek is acceptance
From a person like you.

Very nice poem. I feel the same way about this boy in my school. But I love the poem and the way you ended as well.
