Autumn is here and the leaves have turned gold
The wind has cooled and the days are now short
The skies are clear and the nights now are cold
Flying south are geese and other bird of the sort
The full moon glows bright in the autumn sky
Halloween is very near and witches fly on brooms
Ghouls and goblins are coming out and the werewolves howl and cry
Jack O Lenterns grin on porches, and you know horror looms
For autumn is here and you can feel it in the air
So celebrate and dress up scary but only if you dare!

Autumn is my favorite season, and I love Halloween, so that's why I wrote this sonnet.
