"We are all in the gutter, but some of us are looking at the stars." - Oscar Wilde

The time is upon us, the time of change
Another trip around the sun and returned
To Grand Central Station where dreams rearrange
And we know desire, but now the things we yearned
For take on a new luster and gleaming
With Time’s advancement and counting down clocks
Resolutions become wishes, taking on new meaning
Equipped with the courage to break down locks
That constrain us the other days of the year
But today is different, a last chance
To relinquish old vices – Strong, no tears
Happiness crashes over the soul’s old dance
Now we are off to blaze unknown trails
And prepared to make the changes that entails
