Light Even Through Darkness!

Even though there is darkness that surrounds me.
I know there is light that I will search for day and night.
Somewhere in the corner there is light I can see.
And I will search and search with all my might.

I ask for help from someone that’s willing.
To shine a light into my sight.
But please do not let that light be dimming.
Because it is the first light I’ve seen tonight.

Darkness causes us to be in grief.
Therefore, light please come out.
Because of light I have a relief.
That this world would one day be good, and of that there’s no doubt.

Without you light this world would be in badness.
So light, please come through the darkness.

I was encouraged to do a poem by my teacher, and the rhyming words just came naturally. i hope that people will see that even though we go through tough times we still have the strenght to keep going and keep hope that things will get better.
