Snowflakes
Fluffy puffs that sparkle a dazzling white
Spiraling down as they fall to the ground.
What an innocently beautiful sight!
They float to the wet earth without a sound.
So delicately they twirl as they fall.
Simply like a ballerina they dance
So graceful and delicate and quite small.
They decorate the scene and add romance.
Falling to the earth’s floor without a care.
Their utmost beauty brightens people’s day.
But they must watch their backs and be aware.
Or to snow balls people could become prey.
But Sadly the fun has to come to an end
As the sun melts away our faithful friend.

I love snow and decided to write a sonnet about how snow is so wonderful.
