I Am Poem

By , Escondido, CA
I am a bird who is trapped din a cage
I wonder when i will be let out
I hear the others out having fun
I see the happiness in their faces
I want to be let ou
I am a bird who is trapped in a cage

I pretend that it is not that bad
I feel aslike there is nothing i can do
I touch the cage door and wish it would open
I worry how long i can go like this
I cry because i know the things i'm missing
I am a bird who is trapped in a cage

I understand what i did was wrong
I say give me one last chance
I dream that one day i will truely learn
I try to gain back trust
I hope one day she will forgive me
I am a bird who is trapped in a cage.
