Nice Kid

I am a very nice kid
My parents not so much
But then I guess it might be what I did
Because I am a very silly smutch
When I am misbehaving, they get mad
Because I should behave as I am 10
They tell me “You're ten and you're behaving bad”
I say “I'm just ten and straight like a pen”
Then I get grounded because I was smart
When this happened, I had cried unfair tears
Being this stupid was their biggest art
And they still expect me to be all ears
After all, though they are my parents though
Then I suddenly remember I'm slow
