Whispers of the ocean flood my mind
We are no longer two
Left behind
Our sorrows are through
For now we have each other
Bounding towards the sun
The ocean and I are together
We’ve become one.
Now we aren’t alone
We will never have to be
Now our bond has grown
That of the ocean and me.
This was all thanks to a gift: an intricate shell
Now I know her secrets and those I’ll never tell
