Soccer

All I do everyday is play soccer.
The best part is when you score.
My favorite player is Gareth Walker,
When a game is tied it is a bore.
When you get the ball you have to control it,
and you don’t want to mess up.
My coach always tells me to never quit.
If we mess around we do a push-up .
My dream is to go professional,
But I need to work really hard.
The level I play at is national,
As a kid I would play in the schoolyard.
To me it is the greatest sport,
It doesn’t matter if you’re short.

I am taking a class called, “creative writing” for high school. I am really enjoying this class, I like writing poems. When I was in middle school I really never enjoyed writing poems, but this class really showed me how fun it actually is.
