People rage
They go without thinking
Some people are insane
They don’t care what happens
Who they hurt

Some hurt others because gripe
Hate, anger, jealousy
Some bomb, some snipe
They don’t care what they destroy
The families

Some, the broken
Others hurt them so they are giving it back
Their inner hurt as spoken
They can’t let go
So they give the pain to someone else

People get hurt
They find they have nothing else
Sometimes they feel like dirt
They try to go out in a flame of glory
But they really go out in shame

They leave the world of hate behind
But the ones they hurt are still there
The bombers, shooters, they are blind
They aren’t hurting the one person
They are hurting us all
