You and me
lived in Trees
We only have to pick which
Trees that go high
High as the sky
And we’d always have fun
All day til the sun left
And wasn't there anymore
It’d be our escape from our fears
cause only we have a key
To our house in the tree

This is my home
It's where i'll stay and roam
This is where I’m free
Nothing can attack me
Cause I’m safe here you see
No one can reach me in my home

We’ve grown up a few years
And our Tree House isn't here
And while we still have a house
It isn't as safe as our Penthouse
Cause in the house we aren’t always safe
From our fears and its shapes
So I hate this house
For leaving me no escape

This is not my home
It's where I’m stuck and will roam
This is where I’m free
anything can attack me
Cause I’m unsafe here you see
Anyone can reach me in this home

Now I’m older and wiser
And i understand my desire
To find a good home but i never realized
The truth was a surprise
Infact i don't need a place to call mine
I need friends and family to be by my side
Till the end of time
So As long as they are there
I’ll never be scared

This is my home
It's where i'll stay and roam
This is where I’m free
Nothing can attack me
Cause I’m safe here you see
No one can reach me in my home
