I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear.

-Nelson Mandela

I'm in a time when all life is violent
We’re in a time that's violent
A time when time doesn't work the same
Were young ones use a cane
And old ones run up on you in a second
A dark fear on every corner
Never hesitate, hesitation is what kills
It's what spills the blood of my allies
My enemies, my frenemies
I make up life as it goes,
I never see the see the side where grass is greener
Never see a place that cleaner than the hole i live in
All i do is struggle
You complain about the petty
Have thought of yourself as a selfish kid
There people that are trapped in they minds
Unable to break out
Their eyes tell of their solitary confinement
Nothing but a pit of sorrow masked under all things of kindness
I hate being the a person see as a black cloud
But it's what I'm good at
Adn everyone says do what you're good at
Or is it to follow your passion?
But passions are dangerous,
My passion is to be a dictator
I control my own destiny
No if and's or buts about it
No more cliches
No more tragedies
Aren't you tired of all these travesties
Aren't you tired of seeing a kid just a youngin plastered on the news for dying by gunining?
Aren't you tired of seeing anger surround you?
I m tired
THe anger envelopes me
Creates a pocket of fear not known to me
I promised myself I would never cry
Never be afraid to die
Always act as if the world is ending
And pretty soon the world will end
But maybe I was wrong,
The more you isolate yourself
The more your unseen demons come out
Never let them lurk out
It's like gnashing skeletons they always manage to rear their ugly head
At the worst time
Usually when the night comes out
