Live in a world of lawlessness
Watch me demolish this
Blood stains all on my blade, I never polish it
There’s no hatred left, cause I took all of it
Far from angelic, night might hellish
The pain in their eyes, I like to relish
Addicted to the ultra violence
We’re riotous and nihilist
Dystopian environment
Heart colder than the cryogen
The devil's got my soul, the demon swallowed me
Me and my shadow, my Droogs won’t follow me,
Lust for blood, never enough, it’s always calling me,
Think I’m possessed, the breath of death, it always crawls in me,
I’ve been betrayed
They turn on me(ay)
Caught by authorities (ay)
Took away what I need(ay)
They tied me up, put me in cuffs showed me atrocities,
I lost my choice, I lost my voice, I’m no longer free
Now I’m cautious,’cause I’m nauseous, when I want them to bleed,
This isn’t right, I’ve lost my life, I’m ready to leave

The author's comments:

This piece is directly based on and inspired directly by both the novel and film, A Clockwork Orange, written by Anthony Burgess and directed by Stanley Kubrick. The song is written from the point of view of the evil, young Anti-hero of the story, Alex. It portrays the journey Alex goes through as his freedom is stripped from him in order to prevent his horrid impact on society.
