Was just a young mind,

I learned how to survive,

On my own, without my family.

Was just a young mind,

When you met me,

Stressing out a book in the library.

When you gave me the scholarship,

I saw it as a road,

to freedom, to some so-called prosperity.

Though it was all a nightmare in my sleep.

Chorus:

When I feel like I can't take it anymore,

When there's no one who comfort, or to blame for,

When the rain poured too hard,

And left my whole world at the dark.

I can't live like this,

I can't live in this dreadful reality,

I'm trying hard to keep my eyes open,

But pain's luring me to close them again.

I'm wondering which side to take,

Which plan I should make,

Which road I should go,

Believe me, if I say so.

I'm trying harder than ever,

Just one more chance,

I'll prove to you that I'm fine,

Just understand. One more time.

Chorus:
When I feel like I can't take it anymore,
When there's no one who comfort, or to blame for,
When the rain poured too hard,
And left my whole world at the dark.

I can't live like this,
I can't live in this dreadful reality,
I'm trying hard to keep my eyes open,
But pain's luring me to close them again.

Bridge:

But I cannot lose,

Even to you,

I'm picking myself up,

I'm climbing to the top.

Cuz I cannot lose,

I won't be used,

So rain, be prepared.

The raindrops not,

Holding me back.

Any more.

Raindrops won't,

Hold me back,

Anymore.
