Mama,

Im sorry I didnt mean to hurt nobody,

You were always there for me when i was in pain,

because of you i was always kept from vain,

I remember that one night we sat there in the car,

I was crying really hard,

while we sat there watching the stars,

You told me girl, anything is possible,

i belive in you, you can do anything,

all you need to do is put your mind to it,

and youll make other peoples heart ring,

then my ma leaned right over kissed me on my cheek and said a couple of prayers,

I was still leaning in to her jacket covered in layers, now mama i thought i know how much i meen to you and you meen to me, now all i really want to do is to make you happy just like you said to me.

Mama im sorry i failed you, but imma fix that mistake right now,

I mean that,

Mama,

I promise ill shout out to you from the clouds

Mama,

I promise ill always try to make you proud.
