It's nights like these, I sit and fade away
It's because of you, I have nothing left to say
I gather my thoughts, there are oh so many
I'm still waiting for you, and maybe someday you'll be ready
Doubt runs through my mind, and I only feel regret
Because I never told you how I feel,
you, I shall never forget
And so In regards to you, I write this song
Because my love for you, I cannot prolong
Until some day again, I see your face
I hope to god you're living life at your own pace
