In a place where solidity is nonexistent
The sun will never kiss the bitter earth within it
All focus is on this transparent conjuration of comfort
Clouds follow our every footstep

This is my discomfort, intangible walls restrain the gray
This is home, this is hell, my inevitable grave

Meet me at the gate where we can make our getaway
In this suffocation of grace I will never stay
Reach out and touch the cell wall because it's all there is
I built it brick by brick into my mansion of a sepulcher

Observe the ground
The rain grows heavy and my tears are disguised
When I look to the sky I miss your face
I'm blinded with these riches that my heart so chased

I am the being that devoured the key and I left myself unknowingly lost at sea...
When you're alone it's easy to merge the blurred lines, but keep these two world’s oceans apart!

Ponder these thoughts and know what I've missed
Because at night I dream of a place where time touches eternity with an unclenched fist
For when in His presence our word cannot distort His
