I was told all my life to believe in a God,
That I've never seen before, isn't that odd?
Pray every night to an invisible man,
After I would finish, I still didn't understand.
He's supposed to be our father, our savior,
So why doesn't he stop the chaos and bad behavior?
See, I quit believing in something that nobody has ever saw,
Been told he's a hero, but all he does is let people fall.
God's not dead because he was never real,
This is my personal belief, this is how I feel.

It's no different than the fairytales that were implanted in my mind.
People wrote documented proof he once existed,
If it's true, why haven't I seen a grave with his name listed?
Don't take it personal, but you've been lied to your whole life,

So who's to say he wasn't a false soul in a dream?
If God is real, how was he created?

He's said to have had a son named Jesus who died at the stake,
I've never seen a tombstone for such a fate.
Jesus was supposed to have walked on water but it can't be true.
Because if he could, why can't we too?
And he apparently created the Earth in just seven days,
That's false, because the Big Bang theory proves there was a more logical way.
