White Bird
  White bird
  In a blizzard
Flying blindly between the drops of snow,
  Hiding
  From the vultures
‘Cause no one knows to rescue her.
  So she flies,
  Flies on her own.
  And she falls,
  Falls through the snow.
  And she waits,
  Waits for the lies
  To lift her up high.
  White bird
  Without answers,
Losing sights to lead her on her way.
  Too slow
  To fly from
All the pain that she escaped.
  Still she flies,
  Flies on her own.
  And she falls,
  Falls through the snow.
  And she waits,
  Waits for the lies
  To lift her up high.
  Flying fast
  Through the glaze
  So that
She won’t have to face the truth.
  Below calls
  Screaming why
  But she flies right through.
  Until her wings stop
‘Cause she has nowhere else to go.
  But she tries,
  Tries on her own.
  And she falls,
  Falls through the snow.
  And she waits,
  Waits for the lies
  To take her life.

Lies can push you forward, away from the truth, from the pain, from reality. But lies can only help you so much, until you reach the point where lies are no longer helping you, but becoming you.
