All alone and left behind in this cold, dark world,
all alone and left behind is this scared little girl.
She doesn’t know where to go or even who to trust,
In this world that’s filled to it’s brim with murder, hate, and lust.
No one ever told her that life would be this hard,
That in this world there is no such thing as a heart.
They made it all look so easy and she was blinded by the light,
No one ever told her that once she left she’d have to put up a fight.
A fight that she probably would never have the tools to win,
She needs some advice but where do i begin?
Don’t trust everyone you meet,
hide in the shadows until you get back on your feet.

Because in this world if you’re not evil then you’re prey,
They can smell your enticing scent from miles and miles away.
They lure you in with their flowing grace and charm,
until they have you right underneath their arm.
And then they take advantage of your sweet innocence
and suck all of the good out until only hate is left.
You see the world feeds on hate, greed, and envy,
It’s what makes us us, without it where would we be?
All of these forces give us the power to succeed,
So don’t hold it back, give into the greed.
Let go of the hate, let it consume your mind,
Show all of your evil side and I’ll bet  you’ll find
That it feels right to be so wrong ,
which is why in this world you won’t last for long.
All of the things I just told you?They were part of a test,
To see if you were different but I guess you’re like the rest.

Because soon you won’t even be you you’ll be part of everyone else.
