The pendulum floor clock is steadily ticking and
The sharp black arm of the clock is clicking and clicking.
Don’t wake me up cause I’m in love with all that you are.
Joy encompasses and smothers me
Like a critter in a cocoon.
Don’t wake me up cause I’m in love with all that you are.
It made me notice where
The ocean is holding the sky.
I was blinded, your smile shining, behind those brown eyes.
Don’t wake me up cause I’m in love with all that you are.
You make me see the truth in things, I think that you are,
The remedy for everything.
