why can I still here you
it's been six months since you left
i'm trying not to remind myself why you're gone
cause I know
you can't move on as long as i'm still here
you begin to fade and as your image leaves my mind
I try so hard to keep you between me and my knives
as you leave the room shifts from white to black

some day
well meet again
i know it must be hard
following the stars
just remember you'll never leave me

why can I still feel you
it's been to cold for comfort
and i'm trying to tell myself therapy won't work
I've made up my mind
i'll never leave your side
cause you'll go
out of here while you look down on me
and soon you will see who I am
wishing you could have stayed
long enough to save yourself

some day
we'll meet again
I know it must be hard
following the stars
just remember you'll never leave me

yeah if you cut up my heart
i'll be just fine
yeah if you cut up my heart
i'll be just fine
yeah if you cut my

some day
we'll meet again
I know it must be hard
following the stars
just remember you'll never leave

some day
we'll meet again
I know it must be hard
following the stars
just remember you'll never leave me

yeah if you cut up my heart
i'll be just fine
yeah if you cut my heart
i'll be just fine
yeah if you cut my

The author's comments:
this song is a tribute to my aunt Johanna who died from breast cancer on December 25. she was always so charismatic and really inspired me to pursue my dream no matter what it is.
