In the fire of your arms
In the ice of the night
Still the warmth of our love
Melts the chill of the fight
Safely at home
For the rest of my life
A friend and a friend
Become husband and wife
When our bodies collide
There is nothing to fake
And then both the ice
And the silence will break
Fate brought us together
We’re saved from the pain
And I’ll kiss your lips
Through both sunshine and rain
Our lips and our hearts
They need never to part
From the very first page
To the oldest of age
We’ll rise into the sky
Till we capture the blue
Oh I know it’ll be
A great forever with you
Your eyes are my captors
I want no release
May they hold me forever
Forever in peace
Your lips are my saviors
They kiss me away
From all of the sorrows
Of my every day
Your smile is my transport
To heaven from here
To a world of pleasures
Untainted by fear
Your heart is my home
And I never shall flee
For my dreams can’t outdream
My reality
Our lips and our hearts
They need never to part
From the very first page
To the oldest of age
We’ll rise into the sky
Till we capture the blue
Oh I know it’ll be
A great forever with you
