Slept in my contacts last night
Woke up everything was clear

Fell out of bed, ran to the door
Shirt inside out and two left feet
I stubbed my toe and sighed
Swearing

Hot water rained upon my head
Razor blade across my face
Bright lights glared in my eyes
Screaming

Buttoned buttons on my shirt
Brushed the knots in my hair
Walked to the kitchen get
Ready, now!

Coffee is great
Yeah coffee is good
Coffee makes mornings
Feel like they should
Coffee is dark
Yeah well so was the sky
But after the coffee
The sun starts to rise
Coffee is magic

Coffee in the morning
