We'd often sit together like this,
outside on the patio.
Our hands intertwined silently,
an occasional shared kiss.
In these moments of total bliss.
Most of the time, we don't speak,
the quiet embrace of the night enshrouds us,
save the steady beat of our hearts so in sync,
basking in our love,
falling slowly for each other,
Laying on the concrete,
My whole world right beside me.
Please, god, let us remain infinite
and our passion forever timeless.
