Can you be a fool if you know what’s right
Can you be a fool if you don’t know what’s wrong
How can you live when you’ve lived all alone
Alone in your heart, alone for forever
You’ll never know if that’s why you love her
A kid in his mind but a man in his head
How can you breathe if you’ve only breathed dead
You’ve been beaten in a manor,
That’s why you’ve been left scarring
I hurt and I bleed and I won’t ever
Forgive me myself
I bleed to bleed out
The thoughts in my head make rasp
The waterfalls are bloody
You must protect yourself from it’s splash
Can you sing to your own song without knowing the words
Or can you dance in the fight without any sword
Splatter of your heart thumps to my feet
And I know you still care
Cover me, cover my soul
Shelter me from space
Send me off drowning, covered in my bloody seethe

I originally didn't intend for it to rhyme, because a lot of my other poems I write don't rhyme and are free verse, but I'm happy I chose to make it rhyme and am now trying to find a tune to fit it!!! Maybe one day you'll hear it on the radio!!
