You only see what you want to see.

I have shown you no lies nor told you otherwise.

I beg of you take off the rose colored glasses and see what lays before your eyes.

I beg of you take out the plugs for you ears and hear the truth.

I have shown you no lies, nor told you otherwise. you are blind to the truth so what lays before you eyes you see as a lie, and nothing otherwise.

I have shown you what I tell you but your ears and eyes are clogged and blinded with what you want to hear and see that you see what I tell you as a lies, lies, lies is what you see and hear when I tell you otherwise.

Lies, lies, it's no surprise that you think otherwise.

This poem is about showing and telling people the truth but all they see is lies, and nothing otherwise. They only see what they want to see.
