"violence is the last refuge of the incompetent" -Salvor Hardin

[verse 1]
I am lost within myself.
It's brisk and dark
I yelled for help
The clones they came
with their capsules of pain.
I thought they could take me
to the place I belong.

[chorus]x2
Where is my home
if it even exists?
How could it be like this?
How could it be like this?
Without a home, why even exist?

[verse 2]
Distant but surely close
oh who the hell knows
five years I've endured
With no shield nor a sword
I cannot save tomorrow,
when I cannot live today.
I will find a path,
I will find a way!

[chorus]x2

[verse 3]
I cannot ask to borrow,
But I must escape this sorrow...
This insolence, belligerent
I wish there was a providence.
[Chorus]x2

The author's comments:
I come from a broken home, and I feel that I belong nowhere. What I am trying to convey is my pessimism overlapped with intermittent optimism that gets me through the day.
