Love is like playing the piano. First you play by the rules, then you must forget the rules and play from your heart.

Hello,
I thought I’d just let you know,
I finally fixed it.

It took a lot of time,
But what happened was a crime.
I finally fixed it.

I know I’m not the same,
But I’m over the shame.
I finally fixed it.

God as my refuge,
God as my wings,
He was there for me,
And now I sing,
I finally fixed it!
Will you take it now?

I loved it a lot,
But I never had a shot.
I finally fixed it.

It stole my heart,
I could hardly stand to part.
I finally fixed it.

I was used as a tool,
Man, I was a fool.
I finally fixed it.

God as my refuge,
God as my wings,
He was there for me,
And now I sing,
I finally fixed it!
Will you take it now?

With the needle of God’s love,
With the thread of God’s healing,
He mended my heart.
With the glue of God’s loyalty,
With the tape of God’s hope,
He mended my heart.
With the warmth of God’s hands,
With the comfort of God’s hug,
He mended my heart.
I finally fixed it.
Will you take it now?

God as my refuge,
God as my wings,
He was there for me,
And now I sing,
I finally fixed it!
Will you take it now?

Hello,
I thought I’d just let you know,
I finally fixed it.

I found a picture online that said "I finally fixed, will you take it now?". So taking that picture, I challenged myself to write a poem about it. This is what I came up with.
