They tell me, "Boy, you should sit and talk.
Join the circle and tell us why you don't sleep anymore.
What's on your mind? What's tearing it to shreds?
We can tell from your smile you're not okay."

I'm haunted by lights and friends, gone as quick as they came
Hands full of hair are the only therapy I need
I'll figure out the world and all the rules
Help me by taking back those pills and delicate words

Therapy, shut your mouth, you've led me astray
You made me believe I would swallow the troubles away
Tragedy, you were always there for me, you and misery are the ones who love me
You love the lonely boys who are just like me

Men of gods and gods of men, I've never cared for you
You always seemed arrogant and a little too drunk to bring me home
I'll just love myself and I'll hate who I am

Therapy, shut your mouth, you've led me astray
You made me believe I would swallow the troubles away
Tragedy, you were always there for me, you and misery are the ones who love me
You love the lonely boys who are just like me

I blame me, myself and everything I am
I'm nothing but memories I would love to change
If I was stronger, the story you've heard would last just a little bit longer
But today, I'm not okay, I'm sitting here alone
Just like yesterday
