Said sorry before he did any wrong,
Conspicuous in his song.
Oblivious to his hurt,
Till ambivalence disappeared.
Now as clear as dirt,
The scene appeared,
Time and time again,
Gettin’ harder to comprehend.

It’s what you represent,
Nothing more
But true sentiment-
Only a bona fide sore.
It comes and goes,
Though no one knows.
See, it’s hidden beneath the lies-
Only seen by your eyes.

I’ve never pretended.
But what’s it for?
Perhaps hoping to get karma lended.
Don’t have much more.
Where do I go?
I wanna know.
You don’t care
Why try to bare?
Don’t flatter yourself;
I’ll leave you be- with nothing else.

It’s what you represent,
Nothing more
But true sentiment-
Only a bona fide sore.
It comes and goes,
Though no one knows.
See, it’s hidden beneath the lies-
Only seen by your eyes.

Oblivious to his hurt,
Till ambivalence disappeared.
Now as clear as dirt,
The scene appeared,
Time and time again,
Gettin’ harder to comprehend.
