As He Saved, I Killed

The Son of God, who came from David's seed
He was born in a place where animals feed.
He was laid in a manger, wrapped in swaddling clothes
Later on in His life we'll see just what He chose.
He chose the cross, He chose my sin to forgive
He chose to die, that I might live.
He chose to walk up Calvary's Hill
So as He saved, I killed.
The Holy One who heals the sick and lame
Removed my sin, all of my blackened stains.
He changed me from what I once was.
I'll go to heaven when I die because!
