"Maybe my words, are not as good, as those on the page, quoted on the lips, but they are, my words, my soul, my life, and they are how they are, quoted or not."- Exert from a poem of mine titled "My Words"

I started loosing you
Before we'd even begun
We started picking fights
Before it was said and done
And the way we felt
was better off loved and lost
But baby I want to get it back
No matter what the cost

Cause it's 10:45 on a Monday evening
Were slamming up doors
Yelling and screaming
And all I want is to go back to before
And we've lost all sense of who we are
Laughing and kissing
In the front seat of your car
And all I want is to go back to before
Cause baby we were six feet under
Still standing on the shore

Can we pick up from
Where we last left off?
Before we reached that ocean
Before we dared to cross
We've come too far
To simply back out now
But baby I can still hear us
Tearing our hearts out

Cause it's 10:45 on a Monday evening
Were slamming up doors
Yelling and screaming
And all I want is to go back to before
And we've lost all sense of who we are
Laughing and kissing
In the front seat of your car
And all I want is to go back to before
Cause baby we were six feet under
Still standing on the shore

Oh and I know that you've been trying
And I know that I've been scared
Of loosing everything we had
Of falling down right here

Cause it's 10:45 on a Monday morning
Were kissing goodbye
Our hearts are soaring
And all I want is to stay right where we are
And we've come so far since those faithless days
Screaming and fighting
Our hearts ablaze
And all I want is to stay right where we are
Cause baby we were six feet under
Still standing on the shore

But baby now were flying higher
Our feet have left the floor

So pretty much this is just a song about being lost in a relationship and coming back from it even stronger. :)
