"If it works, don't fix it. If it doesn't work, be a man and suck it up."

You never said it out loud
But I could see it in your eyes
You want to be important to someone

The leaves are growing back
But not one of them is blue
And there's no more snow falling down

And you start to go off coarse
Like a train going off its track
And you start to float away
Like a message in a bottle that ain't coming back
Just like a bumblebee
That ain't satisfied with the pollen this flower brings
And just fly away, just fly away
When you're not even supposed to fly
No, you're not even supposed to fly

There's hootin' and hollerin
But you're completely oblivious
And that's never gonna help you, oh no

So listen to what I say
I'm tellin you my heart is still whole
And you're going to do this all over again

You'll start to go off coarse
Like a train going off its track
And you'll start to float away
Like a message in a bottle that ain't coming back
Just like a bumblebee
That ain't satisfied with the pollen this flower brings
And just fly away, just fly away
When you're not even supposed to fly
No, you're not even supposed to fly

You never said it out loud
But I could see it in your eyes
You want to be important to someone
Well you're not important to me
And maybe it's better that way

Cause you start to go off coarse
Like a train going off its track
And you start to float away
Like a message in a bottle that ain't coming back
Just like a bumblebee
That ain't satisfied with the pollen this flower brings
And just fly away, just fly away
When you're not even supposed to fly
You start to go off coarse
Like a train going off its track
And you start to float away
Like a message in a bottle that ain't coming back
Just like a bumblebee
That ain't satisfied with the pollen this flower brings
And just fly away, just fly away
When you're not even supposed to fly
No, you're not even supposed to fly

The author's comments:
I wrote this song on March 26th, 2012 about a guy I almost had a relationship with. We went to a school dance, but he didn't like me enough ("we didn't have enough in common") for him to be willing to be in a relationship with me. I wasn't hurt by it, I was just mad about how he treated the situation. We're still friends, and everything is going fine now, so all is swell.
