Suspended on a memory

I do not know how I feel

about anything

anymore

But here, I am to reveal

As I sit and swing

quietly soar

I am in solemn distress.

My mind is depressed

I badly want to confess

The bygone past and swift present

make me wonder of what you meant

You leave me with a letter intent

and went

It started with a dear

At the beginning here

And you left with words clear

Seeing your cursive words blend

When I am coming to the end.

My soul, mind, and heart suspend

Remembering the talk

Remembering the walk

Watching the clock

Go round and around

Waiting to be found

Trying to get your attention.

Just to mention the suspension.

When we first fell in love.

Remembering the talk

Remembering the walk

Watching the clock

Go round and around

Waiting to be found

Find my heart lock

I do not know how I feel

about anything

anymore

Begging for a touch

A hand to clutch

A tingle and tangle

Make me want strangle

What are you thinking?

What are you drinking?

What are you doing?

Wait for me at the door

Wait for me at the dance floor

Wait for me, as a trial

Wait for me at the aisle

You said, “Yes”

I said, “Yes”

Remember that fancy dress

Now remember me in distress!

Remembering the talk

Remembering the walk

Watching the clock

Go round and around

Waiting to be found

Find my heart lock

I do not know how I feel

about anything

anymore.

But here, I am to reveal

As I sit and swing

quietly soar

I am in solemn distress

My mind is depressed

I badly want to confess

Here, I sing and swing

Of once a memory,

Once a real story

Suspended at the moment,

I wish to remember the most

The lament of you

Has made me

Suspended on a

Memory
